Sarah and I went up Ally Pally for a mountain boarding session!

The intention was to let her have a go on a steeper slope. She had a few good runs but then got 'bored' and tried something more tricky... which ended in panic and a twisted ankle.

The Kiwi contingent

So Abby and Goodie arrived about the same time.
Stu arrived a few weeks ago.
And now Phil and Stace are on their way over too!
We have a small army between us.
Can't wait for the first party in Oxford with us all!
(Phil and Stace are moving to the Uni town of Oxford!!)

No Brazil for us

So we have decided not to go to Brazil this year.

We were invited to a wedding in Brazil, and to travel with a whole
group of our friends who just happen to be locals. What an opportunity
eh? Well the timing is not so good. I will be just out of my contract
at the Guardian and Sarah's job is also (worst case) in line for
redundancy - so we can't justify it. My friends are great though and
said that they'll just all go again next year!!
