Bruce wayne rich

So last night I found myself talking to THE wealthiest man I have ever met. And when I say wealthy I mean Bruce Wayne wealthy - so unimaginativly rich. If someone asked you how much money do you want, your guess would be in his bank account and more. Infact he has his own bank. Yep. He is the hier to a european bank founded in the 17th century.

He is trying to poach Sarah from her current job!

Teaching Sarah to mountainboard

I had the pleasure of teaching Sarah to mountainboard. She has never snowboarded or slateboarded but picked it up like a pro! And didnt even fall over!

My wife rocks.

Brazilian BBQ

Sarah and I were invited to a Brazilian BBQ on Saturday. Luck for us
it was just around the corner from the newly born Ruby.

It a great night and the meat was something else. They get these great
hunks of meat, rub sea salt into it while singing to it, pre cook it
in the oven and then finish it off with the BBQ. So juicey and tender.

One of the couples there that we have known for about a year are
having a wedding in Brazil an it looks like we might be heading over
there - simply can not resist an opportunity to travel another country
with friends who happen to be locals, and go to a wedding - imagine
the meat!!!

Ruby Isabella Tappin was born on July the 19th 2008 to Bridie and El and we went to visit the new arrival.

As you can see El is proud as punch at what they "made".

Interestingly Sarah, who hasn't really been around babies looked like a natural, where I, having babies constantly supplied by my massive family as I was growing up still held little Ruby like a rugby ball, trying not to break it!

Very very cute.

I must be careful for what I ask for.

So we waiting for the tube and Sarah was hoping we got a seat for our hour long journey. I said to her not to worry because we would step onto the train and there would be to clean seats side by side in i friendly carriage with no arseholes and good air flow.

Well I should have been more specific because we got it all. Even a very friendly Scot who would not stop talking!

Our 1st BBQ of the year - IN JULY!

The summer has been so poor this year that we only had our 1st BBQ in July - quite late in the season..

Anyway it was good fun, eating burgers, drinking bourbon and playing cards!

Summer in London this year seems to beckl about making the most of outside when its not raining.

My sister on a Rollercoaster at Legoland

Somehow I ended up at Legoland on my birthday. We made it there after hiring a car and struggling with the gender-challenged sav-nav (it all of a sudden went from a gentle female voice to an aggressive male voice!)

Anway we queued for 45 minutes for a rollercoaster, was it worth it? It was worth videoing my sisters reaction. This is a laugh. It is a rollercoaster at a childs theme park!

Our First Anniversary in the country side

So a year rolled around since we got married in London.

For our first anniversary Sarah booked us a suite in a poshé country side estate.

I booked us a convertible with the intention of a sunny weekend. When we picked it up it was raining and gray, but when we said that it was our wedding anniversary the lady took pity on us and upgraded us to a £50,000 black Mercedes - WOW.

The estate was amazing. So relaxing and just eating - morning tea, lunch, high tea, dinner, breakfast, morning tea, lunch...

Anyway, we had an awesome time - until I put petrol into the diesel merc. - just adds to the story eh?

1st anniversary

Well a year has flown past and this weekend last year Sarah and I were married. To celebrate we are off to the country side to a spa/estate. Hopefully it will be a relaxing get away.

We also have my sister and her family arriving on friday and its also Sarah and my birthdays this weekend too so its all go!
