First day in windy Wellington

"Oh, it has hardly rained here for ages" says Phil and Stace. I wake up in the morning to it blowing a gale with horizonal rain!!!

It cleard later and the sun came out so I ventured into the city. I walked up and down hills for 40 minutes and I came across this view - WOW! - click to enlarge it!


The wind was incredible - and it just kept going! And so many steep hills! I was to meet Stacy on Lamton Quey but I had managed to get myself onto the street above - literley! One block back was four storys above the previous street! And I couldn't find any way to get down! So I just followed some one behind a building into a carpark and ended up doing through a securiy door that was open and down 4 flights of stairs, past the staff room and out into a book shop, with staff staring at me as I entered! But hey, I was on lambton quey!
